Japanese Trailer for the Avengers Has New Footage And Is Really Giving Dark Knight Rises Some Heat

Another day, another Avengers trailer.

It’s getting to the point where we are going to have to stop showing stuff about the movie simply because any more and we run the risk of hitting “wrecking the movie” status. So far, The Avengers is the film to beat (I am looking at you Dark Knight Rises and to a lesser degree Spiderman). Team Whedon has done everything right it seems.

And for the record, I am still tingling from when The Hulk caught Iron Man in the last trailer.

What more can they add you ask? How about a new, badass sweeping shot of the heroes; A better introduction to Hawkeye; A badass moment with Fury; A ridiculously amazing look at the S.H.I.E.L.D Heli-carrier; And a better sense of the true epicness of the story.

Any hesitations, questions, misgivings or concerns are clearly wiped away and for me, the movie to watch this year is Marvel’s The Avengers.

On to the trailer (via Yahoo! Japan):

 About the Film:

Jackson), director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. The star studded cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, as well as Tom Hiddleston and Stellan Skarsgård who are reprising their respective roles from Thor. Marvel’sThe Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon (Serenity), hits theaters everywhere May 4th, 2012.
