A great premise with some pretty fantastic writing powered by an equally strong cast lead by Keifer Sutherland has made Fox‘s Touch one of the nice surprises of the Winter TV season. Created by Tim Kring (Heroes), Touch just got picked up for a second season on the back of a recent increase in ratings.

For the fans this is welcome news. The show started very strongly with one of the best pilots in recent memory but tapered off a bit before picking up again ratings-wise. It is encouraging to see that Fox, who has a long history of cancelling great shows, is getting behind the series.

Looking forward to see what season two brings.
