Sorkin’s ‘The Newsroom’ Premiere Pulls In 2.1 Million Viewers For HBO

By in Television, The Newsroom on June 25, 2012

The season premiere of Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom pulled in 2.7 million viewers across its two airings Sunday night. This puts it as one of the network’s top series premieres for HBO in the last few years. It attracted 2.1 million viewers in its first airing at 10 PM, (putting it ahead of True Blood‘s 1.4 million for its 2008 debut and just behind Game Of Thrones‘ 2.2 million in its 2010 bow).

Not bad, not bad at all.
