It was announced a little while back and now we are getting our first glance at the Cinderella Slipper that Disney commissioned famed shoe designer Christian Louboutin to create. I am pretty sure there a plenty of you out there that will love this.

It does indeed look pretty. I like the direction that he took with it and the butterflies are definitely a lovely decision as it really gives a sense of youthful elegance. The designer’s famous red soles are instantly recognizable for their elegance, innovative, playful designs and femininity.  “The dream is a major factor in my language of design,” says Louboutin.

So behold, the majesty and legend that will be the shoe that every girl and woman I know will want:

The shoe, which was unveiled at the recent Haute Couture Week, is all part of the celebration around Disney’s global release of the classic masterpiece “Cinderella” Diamond Edition on Blu-ray™ October 2^nd 2012.

“Cinderella is not only an iconic character when it comes to beauty, grace and fairytale love, but also shoes,” explains designer Christian Louboutin. “The slipper is the magic wand of transformation which conjures confidence, beauty and love.” – Christian Louboutin
