Second Trailer For Gore Verbinski’s “The Lone Ranger” Starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer
The first trailer for Gore Verbinski‘s The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the iconic kemosabe made it seem like it was Tonto’s movie. Just before the holidays we had a second trailer drop and it seemed to right the ship bringing focus back to the title character.
While it’s still way to early to tell if the movie is going to be good or not, we do get a sense of the epic grandeurness that Verbinski is implementing. That is great news as that is his sweet spot and he has shown in spades with his Pirates Of The Caribbean series that he can weave a complicated fable into a great film.
The film also stars Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson, and Helena Bonham Carter and I have to say this second trailer has really turned me around on the prospect of this film. I wasn’t really feeling it after the first one and it seems the trailer god have answered my prayers as with this second trailer we get more of a sense of the fun ride this.
Check it out below.
The Lone Ranger opens July 3, 2013.
