It’s been in the news for months. Yash Chopra is coming back to take his rightful place on the director’s chair with a new romance. After all, there is no better romance than a Yash Chopra one and it’s such an exciting time. The last film Chopra directed was 2003′s Veer-Zaara, and before that was beautiful films such as Dil To Pagal Hai, Daar, Chandni, Silsila and the list goes on.
This time around, Chopra brings to the screen a fresh new pairing – Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead with Anushka Sharma (the current Yash Raj Films here) in a supporting role. Chopra is known for taking the conventional love story and making it so beautiful, so touching and so alluring each time around that it seems like a love story in Bollywood can never be stale. But of course, I only say that when I speak of Yashji – who knows the sentiments and emotions that appeal to the masses and the plot twists and turns that are necessary to engage an audience in the story of people in love.
Now, the 30 second teaser doesn’t really say anything. A brief look into the past films directed by Yash Chopra himself with a few snippets from the film in question here – which still has no title. A waste of time you say? No way. This teaser just has the anticipation and excitement growing even stronger.

One of my favourite holiday traditions is only a few years old, yet I can’t wait for it every year. As a huge fan of Doctor Who, watching his Christmas special simply cements the season for me every time because after the special, it’s Muppets Christmas Carol, some egg nog and a pretty major marathon of catching up with movies.
They have just announced the details for the latest special and in usual fashion, while there is very little known about it, it still looks awesome.
The title of the special is : The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe.
Here is the official synopsis:
Evacuated to a house in Dorset from war-torn London, Madge Arwell and her two children, Lily and Cyril, are greeted by a madcap caretaker whose mysterious Christmas gift leads them into a magical wintry world.
Starring: Matt Smith and Claire Skinner. Executive Producers: Steven Moffat, Piers Wenger and Caroline Skinner
And here is the official trailer :

I rather enjoyed the first season of The Walking Dead. Maybe not as some of you who lose their minds over zombies, (seriously what is that all about?).
Lots of changes in the off-season. Frank Darabont who basically shepherded the series from comic-book to TV show is gone.
So how will the show fare without him?
Time will tell.
In the meantime, we have a teaser trailer and poster to hold us over until the show comes back.
Enjoy:
And here is the teaser..which is actually pretty bad-ass.

All of Bollywood is buzzing with the latest Salman Khan starrer, Bodyguard with its much anticipated release this past weekend. The film has created box-office history by grossing nearly 88.75 crores in its 5 day opening weekend.
It may echo the name of the Whitney Houston starrer The Bodyguard in Hollywood territory, but let me tell you, Salman Khan’s film is much, much different. To eliminate any confusion, Bodyguard is in no way a remake or version of The Bodyguard. They are two totally different films, that happen to have a similar name.
Lately, Salman Khan’s film have been these fantastical, over the top, action packed thrillers that harp back to the retro-Bollywood days. While its great to see Salman Khan on screen, as he is one of Bollywood’s leading actors, his films require a lot of patience – especially during the moments where the buttons on his shirt magically pop off and his shirt mysteriously tears away from his body revealing his six-pack abs – similar to what we would see in an animated version of Hulk (Dabanng, anyone?).
In Bodyguard, we see his shirt zapped off too. Also note: the jumping biceps in the song trailer below. Classic Salman.
Regardless of these Bollywood antics, Bodyguard is entertaining, it has great music, co-stars Kareena Kapoor and has an appearance by Katrina Kaif. So, no complaints!

And the wait is finally over, well for the time being that is.
This is a feast for our eyes.
A 1 minute and 30 second trailer has just been dropped for the soon to be hit single “Chamak Challo”, the theme for the upcoming Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Ra.One (which beats out the 15 second teaser trailer released earlier this week).
What makes this song so good?
First, Akon sings the track. Second, Akon sings in Hindi. Third, Shahrukh Khan, (also known in the Bollywood world as King Khan). Mr. Shahrukh Khan is all set to star in yet another action thriller that is rumored to be India‘s first 3D film as well.
Let’s wait and see what King Khan has in store, but for now, let’s enjoy this catchy song trailer.
