First we had Ashton Kutcher in a promo shot for his new role in Two And A Half Men, now we have a promo photo of him in the curtain shot at the intro where they do the ‘men, men, men, men’ bit.

This is not a shot from the filming of the actual new opener which I would imagine they would have to film relatively soon, it’s just a promo shot.

Everything seems to be moving forward at a pretty predictable pace. Now let’s see about that season premiere.

What say you?

This is very, very good news.

Those who know me well, know that I am a big fan of certain shows on TV. A lot of the shows are on the smaller networks like the USA Network, HBO and AMC as I think most of the stuff that the big networks seem to push out is crap.

There are a few exceptions of course. Most of these exceptions reside on CBS in the form of NCIS, The Big Bang Theory and one of my longtime favourites How I Met Your Mother.

Well they just announced that the show has been picked up for two more seasons meaning there will be a ton more legend..wait-for-it……..dery episodes to watch.

The show has been on a bit of a creative high this season and I am very much looking forward to the next two seasons and the eventuality of who becomes ‘the Mother’.

Love NCIS.

Clever writing, great acting and no one plays a better badass on TV than Mark Harmon.

Last night’s episode garnered a whopping 22 million people. That’s a pretty big deal considering the amount of people that PVR their shows nowadays.

The trickle effect worked well because NCIS : Los Angeles picked up 18 million of those viewers and The Good Wife (which I also love) had 12.2 million winning the night.

Overall, it was CBS’ night as it should be.

CBS is firing on all cylinders. Currently none of the other top 3 TV channels possess such a well rounded lineup as it does.  The second best station is USA networks and then Showtime.

A big part of that is emergence of  The Big Bang Theory. Awesome show, well written and quite frankly the smartest co-opting of geek culture I have ever seen.

Need proof, go here and check out what has to be the most brilliant moment in modern Television.

I for one am very glad that they renewed the show, now about How I Met Your Mother ….
