Paz De La Huerta has been steaming up movies and TV for awhile now. It seems that streak will continue with her latest film Nurses 3D “a pseudo-sensual horror film directed by Douglas Aarniokoski about an average nurse who spends her nights “targeting and punishing” evil men.”
So basically Dexter with beautiful breasts and stuff.
Not much to go on except that there is a naked woman covered in blood. Apparently that is what we goes for horrror these days. Works for me.

So Hallowe’en is now all about the zombies apparently. After watching the quite entertaining Dawn of the Dead, (which I hadn’t seen yet), the Walking Dead premiered on AMC.
And it seems a whole whack load of people also caught it. The showed garnered over 5.3 million viewers which is the largest audience for an original show on the network. With the re-reruns afterwards, estimates have viewership numbers hitting a cumulative 8.1 million.
“It’s a good day to be dead” said AMC president Charlie Collier “We are so proud of this series, its depth of storytelling and the remarkable talent attached.”
It was a good premiere. A couple of thoughts come to mind. Can they sustain it for the season. It being AMC and with Frank Darabont involved, I am thinking that it is quite the possibility. The main concern I have is around the subject matter. I really don’t know how much I am going to want to watch a show about zombies during Christmas.
Based on Robert Kirkman‘s comic book series, The Walking Dead was written and directed by Frank Darabont who is executive producing with Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert. Also joining the series as an executive producer is Charles “Chic” Eglee (Dexter).
