The first group of TV Spots did a good job of giving us a sense of how great Dreamworks Animation’s Rise Of The Guardians looks like it is going to be. Next up we have ourselves another group of spots that show just how much fun the movie is going to be.

The elves have their own thing going on much like the Penguins of Madagascar do, the Yeti are awesome and there are a ton of other elements that have the potential to make this film a classic holiday movie. My guess is that if the box office does well, (and there is no reason to think that it won’t), we might have ourselves a series of films on our hands here. And based on what I see here, that is not necessarily a bad thing.

Let me put to you this way, I find myself laughing out loud when I watch these. So that says something.

We will have to wait to see the movie, however in the meantime, check out these TV Spots below:

About The Film Rise of the Guardians is an epic and magical adventure that tells the story of Santa Clausthe Easter Bunnythe Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, and Jack Frost – legendary characters with previously unknown extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children everywhere.

Dreamworks Animaton‘s latest from the dude that brought us How To Train Your Dragon looks great. I dig the idea and the story and the trailers have been putting together looks very promising. It is for this reason that I have Rise Of The Guardians very high on my list of movies to watch.

It recently played at the AFI Film Festival to very positive reviews and I have a feeling it will surprise a bunch of folks.

Thanks to Yahoo! Movies we have ourselves a new character trailer for the upcoming DreamWorks Animation animated movie Rise of the Guardians. This one focuses on the character of Jack Frost and I have to say, I am liking this movie more and more. It has kind of an Avengers vibe to it. While this featurette looks great, it also acts as the perfect compliment to the posters, the couple of trailers we have already seen.

Check out the trailer below and tell me I’m wrong.

We have been getting early looks at what is turning out to be the very fun Dreamworks Animation feature Rise of the Guardians. Featuring the voices of Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher and Jude Law, the movie is based on the The Guardians of Childhood children’s book series by William Joyce and for me has a very interesting and original story behind it.

We have already seen some character posters and a great little teaser trailer and now we have a full-length trailer that really gets into the story. It looks pretty and the voices sound great so let’s put this into the ‘must-watch’ category right away.

With Christmas movies right around the corner, there are plenty of very cool options for us to check out during the holidays. One of the big ones for me is the sequel to the very well done Sherlock Holmes directed by Guy Ritchie  and starring Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams.

I grew up reading the books, so my interest is coming from a fan of the book more then most which I think is why I enjoyed the first one as much as I did. RDJ created a great Holmes and Jude Law’s Watson was the perfect wingman.

The second trailer has just dropped and it looks like Ritchie is picking up right where he left off. We are in for quite the ride based on this trailer which includes all of the original cast with the addition of Noomi Rapace, Jared Harris as Holmes arch-enemy James Moriarty and a whack load of explosions.

I am not sure of Harris’s Moriarty in this trailer, however I will wait to see the movie until I give my final judgement.

Regardless of that very small gripe, this trailer looks awesome and I am very much looking forward to seeing Sherlock Holmes : Game of Shadows when it opens this Christmas.

The trailer rocked our world, literally.

Now, the good folks at Warner Bros have release a teaser poster for Steven Soderbergh‘s next film Contagion and I really like it. It’s cleverly done with a visual style that compliments the movie brilliantly.

With a heavy-duty cast that features Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Marion Cotillard, Lawrence Fishbourne, Bryan Cranston, Demitri Martin, and Elliott Gould, the movie is sure to be one to watch

Here is the official synopsis:

“Contagion” follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.
