I really dig this main theme being used for Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby sung by Lana Del Rey. It’s haunting, melodic and really suits the movie well.
It’s one thing to get Jay-Z to executive produce the soundtrack, it’s another to use a song he did as a blatant attempt to make the movie hip and cool and all that. However that is exactly what seems to be happening with Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby.
