We have a North American trailer for the follow-up of the bad-ass Taken starring Liam Neeson as a man with a particular set of skills. Not that much different than the International trailer that dropped recently. There is more interaction between Rade Sherbedgia as the father of one of the people Neeson killed in the first film and Neeson as well a bit more action scenes.

About the Film A year after the events that transpired in Paris, retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is once again forced to take action when an Albanian (Rade Šerbedžija), whose son was one of the men killed in Paris, abducts his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) and himself during a vacation in Istanbul.
So the little film that really shouldn’t be, is quickly turning into the film that is a must-watch. The sequel to the highly kick-ass Taken starring Liam Neeson as a man with a specific set of skills has gone from ‘why the hell?’ to ‘damn that’s a great idea’.
While we haven’t seen any North American marketing yet, we’ve had one international trailer already drop. Now we get a second one and it reveals just a tad bit more of information that the first one it seems didn’t let us in on. It’s cool though because it’s not that a huge surprise. There is a ton more action as the Daughter / original Taken one (Maggie Grace) gets in on some action and we see a glance of Neeson doing his thing.
Yeah, I am ALL in for this one.

I have to admit that when I heard that they were making a sequel to the sleeper/bad-ass hit Taken starring Liam Neeson, I really, really hated the idea. The first one was such a great film start to finish. It ended well and the question was how could they make a sequel? What would the story be?
Well, man did they ever figure that one out as the International Trailer for Taken 2 has just dropped and dare I say, it is just as badass as the first one.
Picking up right where the last left off, we have find Neeson’s character, a man with a set of very special skills, having to deal with the fall-out of his rescuing his daughter in the last film. This time his wife is taken and he goes on to do what he does best.
I went into the trailer with low expectations and now I can’t stop watching it. The film, which also stars Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Rade Sherbedgia and Luke Grimes, is going to surprise and delight and I for one am very happy for that.
Liam Neeson is gonna kick some ass yo…I am ALL the way on this one.
