Movie themes are always an interesting thing. Some usually fit very well like most of the ones for the James Bond movies or Will Smith’s original Men In Black theme which was a pretty damn awesome and a whole lot of fun.

Then we get into the craptastic Pitbull song for the upcoming Men In Black III and you wonder what the hell happened.

Thankfully this theme that Florence + the Machine did for the surprisingly great looking Snow White and the Huntsmen is one of the better themes out there. I mean I really, really dig this. We shouldn’t be surprised considering that Florence + the Machine is the perfect choice and fit for a movie like this.

Have a listen…

About the Film In this new epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the Evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her. Actors Eddie Izzard, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Stephen Graham, Eddie Marsan and Ian McShane play dwarfs. This is being directed by Rupert Sanders, an acclaimed commercials director making his feature debut. Arrives in theaters on June 1st this summer.

Before Twilight candy-coated and spit it out, Kristen Stewart was putting together a very promising career with a string of very well made movies and her bringing us some very even performances that gave us a glimpse of her potential.

And then we had to wait for years while she played one of the most one dimensional characters ever filmed. Can’t really blame her as a paycheck is a paycheck and I am pretty sure that she will never have to worry about a gig for a very long time.

Then it was announced that she was cast as the lead of ‘Snow White and Huntsmen‘ and all of I sudden my ears perked up. The story is a very interesting and pretty badass take on the classic fairy tale and Stewart definitely has the chops to pull it off. And then Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth is the Huntsmen and the band of Dwarves that are CGI‘d and held down by some very strong actors? Well this is starting to come together well. The final piece of the puzzle is the Queen and an inspiring piece of casting Charlize Theron nabbed the role.

It seems we might have ourselves a movie.

The only question would be around whether the director put all these pieces together and is giving us a film worth watching. After watching the new trailer and the 5 minute Show Reel that just dropped, the Magic 8Ball is giving us a resounding yes!

Check them out below and judge for yourself. I for one am ALL in.

And here is the 5 minute Story Reel:
